Moving between the worlds of poet and self-historian, Camryn Adele Portagallo’s voice is untethered, timeless, and explorative. With a nostalgic, rich tone and lyrics that reflect a life lived deeply connected to self and story.
Camryn grew up in rural New Jersey where she was influenced by life outdoors; the centuries old apple orchard, or revolutionary war gravestones in the backyard of her parents home, the past, and lineage has always felt alive to her, alongside the fire of her New York Italian heritage, where family gatherings were steeped in loud love and the musical influences of Tony Bennet, Sinatra, and The Beatles.
She was most recently one of three musical guests at the acclaimed Esalen Institute’s “Go Within Winter Series,” alongside artists Snow Raven and Rising Appalachia, where she performed all original music, including her popular first single Saint-Étienne. She writes music for prayer, love, forgiveness, self-exploration, and coming back down to earth.
Camryn currently lives on a ranch in the Sierra Nevadas where she lives with many animal friends, plays live, and makes music. Her new single, "Song For Water," releases this March 2026.
